The short version

xas.band is a static website. It has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no advertising and no analytics or tracking cookies. We don’t build a profile of you, and we don’t sell or share personal data.

Who is responsible

This site is operated by Kash Sajadi (the artist Xas), who is the data controller for the limited processing described here. Contact: kash@xas.band.

What is collected

We don’t ask you for any personal information. The only data processed is the minimum that the internet requires to deliver a web page:

  • Hosting logs. The site is hosted on AWS (Amplify / CloudFront). Like any web host, AWS automatically records standard request data — such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time — to serve the site and keep it secure. These logs are handled by AWS as our processor.
  • Web fonts. The site loads typefaces from third-party font services (rsms.me for Inter, Google Fonts, and Fontshare). When your browser fetches a font, that provider receives your IP address and request headers. This is solely to render the typography; we receive nothing back.

There are no first- or third-party tracking cookies set by this site. If that ever changes, this page and the “last updated” date will be revised first.

Links to other platforms

Where the site links out to streaming services (SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Bandcamp) or you email us, those services receive whatever you choose to share with them under their own privacy policies. We have no control over their practices.

If you email us

If you contact kash@xas.band, we keep your message and email address only as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of the correspondence. We don’t add you to any mailing list.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to know how it is used. We don’t sell personal information. Because this site collects so little, in practice this usually concerns hosting logs or any email you’ve sent us. To exercise a right, email kash@xas.band.

Children

This site is a general-audience music page and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
